Felix Dancewear are always quite good: http://www.felixdancewear.co.uk/
There are catalogs for their goods available at Elmgrove LeRoc or you may be able to get Felix to send you one if you contact them.  Their website is out of action at the moment though.

hiya Justine,

Quick search on internet!

I went to Dancewell myself.  Nice people there.

I would suggest trying a few of the trainers on before you buy.

Cheers
Martin

Ooooh! A thread about shoes! My fave subject!

I went to Dancewell myself.  Nice people there.

I really like Dancewell, too.  ;D They're not the cheapest, but they've always had what I wanted in stock. And they are very nice people.

Blochs come in US sizes, so you'll need to order a size 9, if you want a women's UK size 6 DRT. The Stealths are actually more generous, so you might be better off with an 8 or 8.5.

Sorry - have never tried Capezio. I do fancy their Matrix, but you can't get them in Europe yet.  :(

Marty's right. Do try them on first!

hey  justine! before you buy.. i wish i'd bought a pair of my fave adidas trainers, dedicated to indoor use only ( and a few years' supply of suitable tape to ungrip the sole).  i just cannot learn to love my blochs, having had them nearly a year.   ???

I love shoes. My mother calls me Imelda.  ;)

Oooh - I just thought, as well, after reading Claire's post - Sherif gets his normal trainers resoled with dance soles. That could be an idea for you, Claire?

Oh yes, I  remember Sherif's resoled trainers, etc.
Well, when I next buy some  Dance shoes, it will be the Bleyer kind. They are seriously cute. And good for tall people!  ;D

Mmmmm...... have always fancied the Bleyer Swivels (I think that's what they're called - the wedge ones, anyways!). Very pretty shoes.  :P

I don't know where he sets them done, but my local cobblers does dance soles - I'd try one of those, maybe?
