Hi John,

Could you help me with a couple of problems, please?

When I'm using Firefox, I can't log out of the forum.

And I've just discovered, by pressing the wrong button, that I'm able to modify other people's posts! I meant to press "quote", but hit the "modify" button on NickM's post, which meant I changed his post instead of adding my own reply.  :o

Hi Lou,

Thanks for spotting that.  The privileges were set so that ungrouped members could modify replies to their own topics (as opposed to just their own replies).

If you give it a go now you should only be able to modify your own posts.  Ye gods, there are more settings on this forum than ever before... :)

On the cookie side, I've had this problem too.  I think it was caused by me fiddling with the forum settings a week or two ago, which meant that it wasn't possible for some people to log out using firefox.  Delete the cookies from your cache and you should be OK again.

No problems.  Your wish is my command, my lady...  ::)

I can easily imagine there will be a few issues with the new forum that are yet to rear their heads.  Oh well!

I think on the whole it's a lot better than the old one though.
