Back in full flow now so I guess it's time to start writing up again
Nice to see Mark & Lizzie giving it a go - Lizzie felt like she was doing well during the class so she'll be fine. As I didn't dance with Mark, I cant be sure how well he did, but he looked comfortable. Better watch out Marty - you won't be the only one with those moves for long

Beginners
Jockey position - basic footwork back step slow slow (L R L R for men mirrored for ladies) slight forward motion on first slow return to starting point on second
Turn out back step as usual on first slow lead lady in front (lead with right hand pushing right hip as lady moves allow hand to drift across lady's back) on second slow use right hand to lead clockwise free spin.
Catch R to R
Outside turn - back step on first slow prepare by raising R hand slightly above ladies head to her right (only a small amount) push forward with R hand on second slow - lady turns clockwise again but this time under the hand maintaining contact
Comb - back step slow take R hand over mans head release hold second slow allow lady's hand to trail down L arm to take up L to R hold into open basic
Intermediates
Lindy Circle - back step triple (man move forward and to R of lady takes closed hold) Step Step on 5 6 (continue travel around lady R in front of L) triple keep turning end in closed or Jockey
Variant - same until beat 7 when triple is replaced by a stomp - hold for 7 & 8
No Idea What To Call This
From the end of the Lindy Circle Variant back step in place L kick down but cross over R in front turn to face partner, triple step backwards (take your partner with you)
Swingout from Closed hold back step triple man moves into slot travelling in direction away from partner firm R Hand on lady's L shoulder (get low) . On 5 6 man gets out of the slot and pulls the lady with R hand along the slot. 7&* man triples in place turning to face partner lady continues along slot facing away from partner. The lady turns to face again only on the next "back step" which is of course modified (typically becomes a Twist Twist)
Variant replace triple on 7&8 with a swoosh R foot for men L for ladies (dragging foot in a semi circle) replace next backstep with another.
Change places with strange footwork!
