(alternative video starring Uncle Archie, my gran's second cousin )

couldn't get out tonight (except for a little essential medicine) but - Archie Leach (sorry to ponder the other spelling!)

..Apart form the long drum solo this 'colosseum' track - great title - sounds fairly like some of Fenlon's jazz/rock/blues fusions at Jongleurs.
- maybe the copyright holders relent if the comments and ratings are disabled?

Joni Mitchell (much better than 'yellow taxi' imho) crisp, live perf.:

and this, i wonder how many instruments ian anderson can play?

here's a track i'd like to try - it's in a similar vein to the ZZ Top one,  80's mainstream rock but a bit (lot) faster. Marty had an interesting idea about letting people have a (or some) choice of music. I guess it is fast (i'd prefer some slow zeppelin) but is some or all of the fun and challenge to fit the dance to the music?

something i've noticed - when refering to recent stuff - the term musician seems to be missing.

i suppose the odd exception is allowed (to prove the rule)

 - could inspire a new get fit regime. (it's the princess superstar one - seems a nice young lady!)

..driving home from the filton folk centre dance i put on a genesis tape but some how had not noticed before the  piece of synth. & organ playing in the middle of this track (which is pretty good anyway), here's a live performance (bit different) :

here's land of confusion :

Here's some nice, gentle jazzy blues from 'mr hi-ho siver lining' Beck :

and 'touch and go' - but not as we know it:

one day we'll (or me'll) get a bluesy rock dance session ! (or even a couple of tracks) - well i'd like to check the danceability if anyone's interested? BB King and some helpers:

here's a guy whose band went down the pop route like jefferson airplane but is still around (Oh Well):

chicago transit authority:

- so much happening there - wish i could try it!

these might be more danceable :

ELO, rich, lively sound (IMHO) :

IGGY POP track :

Climax Blues Band :

band from Taunton?, actually Exeter (pop. in my Scunny local!)

Bad Co. (CD sounds faster) must be movin' music!

don't move to this? - check your pulse (spencer davis - blues bros.)

and some garbage - kinda trash i like :

a Supertramp (not grass) pop/rock live track that starts slowly:

a couple of clapton songs:

 - live but from the 'journeyman' album - not for dance

here's steely dan (named after?)
- reeling in the years
- happy 70's memories (could do some interesting steps, funky guitar work)

think i mentioned 3 dog night - well danceable? and upbeat :

Here's INXS, devil inside - definitely danceable with a delightfully decadent video :

even looks like Zeppelin are still a little popular, how many ticket applications? 20,000,000 (can't all be touts) and people are raving about plant/krauss

getting some less familiar soul/motown type tracks together in the hope of dancing to them some day.
