Move names
« on: February 04, 2005, 04:49 PM »
Is the actual "Phil's move" move (a sort of left handed hatchback) named after you, Phil? Or vice versa?

And who was the Nigel of Nigel's move, the Bill of Bill's pretzel, the Helen of Helen's move, and so on?

A first move variation. If I recall correctly, the first couple of steps are the same (step apart, bring the lady to your side, rotate her out while both stepping back on outside foot). Then you bring her back round a little more forcefully than usual, and the man turns one turn clockwise under his left arm. them return the woman (but I cant remember which return)

Got this one from Jenn White actually.  She may have the answer.  Taught it at the University last night actually.
