New years eve freestyle options.

Just wondering if anyone has been to any of the following venues.

Liberty ballroom newbury or The Guildhall, Abingdon. Which one would make a good one to go to for new years eve? Which would have a younger crowd? etc..

Closer to home.  Richard is a good DJ, and always a good dance at swindon.

Been to the Liberty Ballroom - it's a sod to get to, and I wasn't impressed with the barstaff who actually took a drink out of the top of one of my friends' bags and punctured the bottle, to stop them from drinking their own water - forcing them to buy from the bar.

Saying that, the venue is lovely and the dancing crowd there was superb.

Not been to the other place.

got some mail fropm 'easydance' sheffield/chesterfield - dancing both 'eves' and £10 minibus NY eve - but probably won't go as far as the south west!

...of course on Fri 29th, there's a dance at Kingswood.

Indeed.

It should be noted that the barstaff are probably NOT affiliated with the dance organisers though - they were probably provided by the venue owners.

Still, no excuse for taking something out of a person's bag.  Sniff.

I've not been back there on principle since then.  I vote with my feet and my dance dollars.
