New Ceroc class starting in Bristol
« on: April 01, 2007, 09:15 PM »
Hey all

I'm really pleased to announce that I am opening a new Ceroc class in Bristol, on Sunday nights, in Warmley.  7.30pm - 10.30pm, Warmley Community Centre (just off the Ringroad, opposite the filling station), starting 13th May.  Hope you can all join me - should be a fab way to finish a weekend! ;)

More details will follow......... :smitten:

Send me the info and I'll create you a class page and add you to the calendar (if you wish!)

I used to live round there - there's a fab chippie a few roads down.  Mmmm.

Good luck with it.

John.
The Bristol LeRoc / modern jive dance classes are diverse and provide a blend of teaching styles and music styles that are complimentary. If you want to keep them... go to your classes and support them! Check out the free dance, music and theatre clipart images in the new Clipart Library

Chips after the class (and not before) is highly recommended - there is nothing like dancing with someone who smells of fried food and vinegar!

Thanks John, I will take you up on the class page.

details : floor, smoking (not much longer), parking, price, music, format?

Floor - wooden (if I remember rightly! - I did have a spin on it and it was fine - nice size, slightly bigger (Wider) than clifton with a high stage.  Bar next door!

Smoking - not in dance room (but prob still allowed in bar area for now)

Parking - car park attached to venue

Price - Now, don't quote me on this (as I have never had to pay for Ceroc!) but I think £7 a night, with a one off Ceroc membership of £1.  If I am wrong I will get back to you.

Format - 7.30pm - 8.15pm beginners, 8.30pm - 9pm beginners review class (in a sep room) and intermediate class.  9pm to 10.30pm freeeeeeeeestyle!

Hope this is enough for now........!

Wooo Hooooo, another new venue starting up, now i can dance 7 nights a week in the Bristol area.

The venue is really nice, I used to dance in there back in my Line Dance days, and from what i remember, it was a moderate to fast floor. Though that may have changed. Its dead easy to find too, just off the ring road, so EVERYONE in the area can get to it easilly no excusses  >:D, and im sure for people who cant drive, busses will probably frequently pass there (sunday timetables though ?)

A big group of us went to Jennis opening night, and it was fab. Are we all going to do the same this time? (thats a rhetorical question by the way :) ) there will just be more of us this time as its not so far to drive. :)

Good Luck Linz

B

So wish we could join you for your opening night - but I have an exam the next day  :(
Once they are over we hope to come as often as family commitments allow.

Hope everyone has a really good time.  :)

Karen.

I am hoping to be there as well.   8) ::) I  really enjoyed the busking in the Galleries   :D ;D :coolsmiley: and would also like to support the new class on Sunday - haven't seen the pictures on display here yet!  One slight problem is that yet again I will need a lift from near Lodge Causeway, Fishponds as buses on a normal day are a joke but of course this is a Sunday which is even worse!  :knuppel2: :idiot2: :crazy2: :tickedoff: :uglystupid2: :embarassed: So, if any one is passing through Fishponds to Warmley I would really appreciate a lift - as always I am happy to pay my way, buy you a bag of chips, drink etc.  If you are a lady you are guaranteed as much dancing as you can handle!
