A Great evening

Lots of the ?new" intermediates are becoming excellent dancers
One day I will learn the Columbian
But it very difficult to get the  footwork when you can?t see the teachers feet

agree - enjoyed the evening and i'm keen to get to grips with the more fancy footwork aspects of jive, as i see it as a way of making better, more satisfying use of the music - with the benefit of avoiding making one's partner too dizzy! (though it definitely requires a higher level of 'working' together, i reckon)

The Columbian was snazzy, very Fred Astaire  ;)

I still can't work out whether a "Columbian" is something you smoke, or some form of waxing...
The Bristol LeRoc / modern jive dance classes are diverse and provide a blend of teaching styles and music styles that are complimentary. If you want to keep them... go to your classes and support them! Check out the free dance, music and theatre clipart images in the new Clipart Library
