Has any heard them or heard of them

They are very mcuh in the mould of The Gotan Project but are based in Argentina so have a closer relationship to local tango musicians.

I like their stuff & played one of their tracks "Montserrat" the last time I was at Filton (You were there as I remember thinking that you'd like it), Perfume is another i play from time to time. Their 1st album was excellent - lots of really good stuff, I wasn't as taken with the Supervielle album.

Their web site has samples from the original album (http://www.bajofondotangoclub.com/bftc.html) & I'm looking forward to hearing their new stuff in the autumn.

I'm not sure about going to see them at the CH - I think it's a terrible venue for dance bands (unless they take out the front seating area and turn it into a dance floor like they did with The Matthew Herbert Big Band a few years ago). Their gig at the Brighton Dome on the same tour is listed as seating in the Circle & standing in the stalls.
