Hiya all,

long time - no posts

Have to mention last night though - it was very good!

Moves in class was very flowing and imaginative - everyone liked them

Nice to be back in a class - great atmosphere, brill to catch up with people.

freestyle music was good - mind, not been to classes/dances much - so great to be out on the floor!   ;D

JT was there as well - wow a very rare sighting!   ;)

All the best guys
Martin

iagree - it was an excellent class last night - thoroughly enjoyed myself, but that probably has a lot to do with the fact that I don't get out much these days!!  Good to see a few old faces and a LOT of new!

Moves??  You mean we were actually mean't to be learning something last night and not just enjoying ourselves?? ;)

If I remember right it was something along the lines of:

reverse first move type thing
followed by reverse 1/2 catapult into
sway step round thing with a few spins
and finally a spiral staircase

and I wonder why I've never made it as a great dancer - I think my class report would read - must pay more attention to the teacher and stop giggling in class!!

It was lovely to see you last night Jennie, it has been a long time since we danced.

I think the moves were a neckbreak followed by a reverse 1/2 catapult into a sway walk then a spiral staircase. I was near the back so I couldn't read the board to get the proper names.  :( Maybe John E will read this and correct us  ??? )

Glad everyone enjoyed the class.  It was great to see lots of faces from the dim and distant past!!!

Routine was

Neckbreak reverse (coming out left to left)
Reverse 1/2 catapult -->
Sway spiral spinout
Push me pull you (can't remember the real name!!)
Spiral staircase

See you on Monday for the next installment.

My first Intermediates - tried hard and still made mistakes but enjoyed myself. Not worried about getting it wrong  - as long as nobody else does.  :)

Ah, this is one of those times where I stay "tactfully silent" isn't it? :)

I'm learning tact by association with pain now I'm married myself...  >:D
