Hi All,

What do you think of this new look for the forum?  I quite like it myself.

yep, looks good to me John!!!  Well done!  :)

Just a thought, is it possible to see who gives/takes away Karma?  I know we can see our 'rep' in the other place.

Thanks

Elaine

Yup - that would be handy. In last week, mine's been up & down & up & down like a Yo-Yo. And I have no idea what anyone's trying to tell me. So I've joined in doing random Karma.... ;)

Hi John, I really like the new format, especially the "Show unread posts since last visit" at the top.

There seem to be lots of new things to play with too![/color]  :) :) :) :) :)
It also seems to be running a bit quicker at the moment? Maybe that is just coincidence though?

Hmmm, Karma: it's not possible at present to see who's doing what with Karma, but as the phrase goes... everything's possible!

I could try hacking the forum code myself to do it, or I could wait for the mod to be provided by the mod-writers...

If there is a problem with Karma I should be able to extract some info from the database given enough time!

Glad people like the forum now though, I am quite impressed with the new scheme myself.  Done by a young lady called Andrea, apparently!

And the other option is to use the forum's RSS feed - you could have a scrolling news-ticker running along the bottom of your screen, showing you the latest posts as they arrive if you really wanted...  O0

What can I say - I need to get out more!  ::)

Glad you like it though.

More changes to come?  Maybe...  Though I should probably concentrate on updating the main site at the moment as that's in need of some updates.

Thanks Phil,

But you do a very good job of the Roving Reporter bit, plus I need to earn as many pennies as possible - we're looking to buy a new house, and they're bleedin' expensive!
