Hi All,

The routine for tonight was:

- Slingshot (two handed exit)
- Travelling return (double spin)
- Checked flingy-flung
- Teapot

Quite a short routine, but the theme of the evening was "Timing".

For the men, concentration was placed on the use of the half-beats as placemarkers for balance, footwork, lead metering and lead acceleration.

For the ladies, again concentration for placement, awareness, and readiness for lead acceptance using half-beat signals and leads from the men.

As the phrase goes, there's more to musical interpretation than "5..6..7..8..", and in this case, there was a lot of technique to support it!

Hope everyone enjoyed.

Regards

John.

Thanks for the feedback - always nice to know I'm on the right track!

Next week's theme has yet to be decided.  Will let you know as soon as I work it out!  Any requests? :)
