Warehouse
« on: February 21, 2008, 01:46 PM »
Salsa at the Warehouse was fun--(Que Pasa is too  horrendously busy at the moment)--unfortunately it only starts to really liven up when I need to leave due to working the next day-seems the really good dancers only arrive about 10-30/11 pm. Good intermediate lesson though--although I havn't got enough confidence to do much freestyle yet.

Ohhhh Anita, Que Pasa salsa group is moving to a new venue cos weve outgrown the venue. we are going opposite to where we are now to a place called Funky Greek (I think) and apparently in their newsletter its got 2 floors,

You gotta keep it up at Warehouse though :) I find i reach my peak there at about 1130. I know its late, but its well worth it, as it begins to get a lil quieter. the last couple of weeks ive still be there and dancing at 2, though i really pay for it the next day, both physically and mentally

keep it up, you're good :)

Thanks for letting me know Becci , and for saying I was good at Salsa--are you sure you weren't watching someone else! ;) ;D--Have they moved to the new place already?-I might give it a go  tomorrow if they have--yes , it was getting very overcrowded, so its good they have a bigger place. Haven't been at the Warehousefor a few weeks because I've been trying Cuban Salsa @ Halo Cafe--expect you've been there--very good teacher but not as lively as the Warehouse though--see you soon I expect

Hey Anita,

Ive not tried Halo yet though ive seen it advertised when i was walking along Glous Rd.. Maybe one night I will give it a shot. :)

Another familiar face at Warehouse this week  PHILLSMOVE was there strutting his stuff .    O0 O0 O0 O0

It was a very busy night there though, as they had guest teachers from London there, if you ever get the opportunity to be taught by Moe Flex and Helena, they are awesome. They always get everyone up for a Reggaeton dance during the freestyle too, which is great fun :)

Ive still got to try out Que Pasas  new venue at Funky Greek. Im sure at first it will feel a bit alien going into a new club, but like Warehouse, after a few weeks everythings back to normal :)

Im so loving the salsa at the moment :)

See you both on the dancefloor soon
