Frys Club
« on: April 05, 2008, 01:21 AM »

Im back again with another review.

This time Frys Club in Keynsham.

This is the second freestyle run by this group, who set up just to do freestyle nights, so no weekly classes.

I didnt get there until 930, so I caught the second class. They run a beginners Salsa in one small room, and a 'special' class in the other room by a guest teacher. This was a Rueda class which looked VERY busy.

Also with this group they run what is called 'Chocolate Buffet' where you can register and you get a VIP pass to another room where there is cholcoate fountains and choclate, and choclate and more cholate, some yummy fruit and another good measure of chololate on offer  (well it is on the Cadburys premices)

Also for ppl that dont bother with the buffet there is ample choclate scattered on every table. I still have a cream egg, packet of mini eggs, and bars of choc that i couldnt manage.

The danceing went on til just gone 12, although felt like should have gone on later, but licencing laws prevent this

Also the small room that the beginners is taught in, is opeend up into a cheesy disco room. So me and Pinda got some Jive in, and there was plenty of handbag dancing going on to various disco classics :)

It was a really busy night, with ppl from all over the place. Had some fantasic dances. Free Parking, and tap water (tho they grumble at this a lil bit)

Will be back again  :)

i wondered if one could go along and get away with some jiving with the Saulcya ladies?  :idiot2: (seriously)

Yes, I went to the first one Becci, and it was quite good but one lesson was cut out and there were few people I knew there--apart from the people I went with ,of course--sounds like this was an even better night--when's the next one? :)
