Hi Peeps,
I've had a few queries recently about profiles and how to set them up. Here's a quick reference:
To look at your profile, click on the <Profile> menu in the blue menu bar at the top of the screen.
Once you?re there, on the left there is a series of menu options in a panel.
The
Summary shows you what you have set up.
The
Account Related Settings section lets you set up your visible name (instead of showing your login ID), and other useful things.
The
Forum Profile Information section lets you set up your picture (or avatar) and your signature text ? the picture appears next to each of your messages and the signature text, like emails, appears under each of your messages.
Look And Layout lets you customise how you see the forum.
Notifications and Emails lets you set what information you wish to be told about ? and lets you unsubscribe from watching particular topics that you are involved in.
Personal Message Options lets you set up your messaging (forum email chat stuff).
Edit Buddies lets you set which people you want to keep an eye on when you?re online.
Have a play ? anything you do can be undone and reset, you can't "break" anything!
Just remember that when you change something on any screen you need to click on the <Change Profile> button at the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
