Elmgrove--15th April
« on: April 16, 2005, 01:41 PM »
Really enjoyable dance--good atmosphere and lots of people--a bit too crowded actually because quite a few people were getting hurt on the floor by dancers  who werent considering others and doing moves that were inappropriate in the amount of space available. The dance with a stranger was fun to watch and congrats to Tracey for getting through to the final round in her competition debut with Mark! The tennis club after was also good-- Jeffs disco dancing was a sight to behold!!

Winners of DWAS were

Lyndon and Lia

Glad to see so many people wanting to enter the competition.  It was hard for the judges who found the standard very high.

Thanks to Mark, Jackie, Elaine and Simon B for taking the time to judge.

Don't forget the SWLC on July 1st.  Your chance to dance in a competition with the partner of your choice.  Details coming soon.

Congratulations also to Andy and Lizzie who came second and Simon (from Wales) with Marilyn.

My first time judging and boy, it's not as easy as you think!!

Well done to everyone who entered and especially to the finalists.  :)
