All booked up already--it was brilliant last year. Remember--it's not only a competition--there are workshops all day saturday & sunday from beginner level upwards , so it's ideal for anyone wanting to learn  WCS too! Plus 3 dances , Friday , Saturday & Sunday. Oh, and theres a jive room  every night too for those wanting some light relief  from WCS :)

I did ask and was told £20!  Don't think I can make it but enjoy it if you go.  8)

Well--we didn't win--but then we didn't expect to--all the other teams were far more experienced than us. But I thought we performed it well for the length of time we had to practise the routine and hopefully if we do perform it again, maybe at the glitter ball in the summer at weston--it will be more polished. I found it far more nerve wracking than dancing freestyle as a couple in a competition because it all has to be synchronised and mistakes are obvious as you are all doing a long choreographed routine--such a memory test--but an interesting experience. Oh--Team France won, with Solihull 2nd. If I can find a
video of it somewhere will post a link to it sometime  :)
Oh--and the weekend of workshops, competitions  and cabarets was fantastic too  :)

Told by Paul Warden @ tonights class that we were actually placed third out of the four teams--ahead of London--so we are all very pleased  :)

Yay!  Well done Anita and team.  Competing is a wonderful experience isn't it, but as you say, being part of a team does make you think a lot more than freestyle!

Good luck at the Glitter Ball.
