Hi,

I didnt see all the competition, but on a local level Mark & Fiona deserved their win & I enjoyed watching 'Happy B''s Showcase.
Also enjoyed being an alien in the Cardiff Team Cabaret. Spacious venue, great to see good & reasonabley priced food too.

Yes--congratulations to everyone--I enjoyed Beckies showcase too--great outfit--loved the red boa ! Thought the Cardiff team cabaret was really innovative--just hope it doesn't give me nightmares--it was quite spooky--I am easily scared! Also absolutely loved watching Richard Beauvoisin & Zoe's dancing in the open (they came 3rd)--their dancing is really something special.
Jenni & Danni looked great dancing in the Ceroc X Category & I'm pretty sure Danni & her partner may have been 2nd in the advanced--am I right? Thanks to Lyndsay for organising the Coach etc--hope you've got that Alien outfit off now or you'll be scaring the neighbours!! :)

It was a very strange and, in the end, overwhelming and happy day for me. [Reasons below.]

I also think that Danni and her partner (Josh) were 2nd in Advanced.

All the people from the area did themselves proud. It was good to see so many young people getting involved. The Cardiff team cabaret looked like it was fun to do and I enjoyed watching it.

The strange part of my day was the contrast between the Intermediate and the RocVets competition. Fiona and I were eliminated from the Intermediates in the first round which knocked us a bit. But then things got better and better culminating in a win that we were not expecting at all. The trophy is massive!!

Many thanks to everyone who was there and supported us and the text messages people sent :smitten: You made a difference when we needed it.
