Spotify - the biggest thing since iTunes
« on: February 26, 2009, 10:27 AM »
looks like the mixing deck is going to change forever

Totally legal, totally free. The music is streamed, so you can't  save it.( or play on a iPod) but  Fantastic for music browsing

If you install the free version you have to listen to an advert every 15 minutes, although for £10 a month you can get rid of all adverts.

http://www.spotify.com/en/

you can also share a play list

here is a bluesy compilation from the other place  by Chef and put up by Stoke Bloke

...some related music news but i wonder what 'premium' means in this case?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7933565.stm

...reminds me of my local in Scunny (SamS bitter at £1.21 per pint, 4 years ago) - i heard that the  brewery were going to have to pay £500/year, i tink, for having the music machine - so out it went.

Here's a track that had some lyrics that might fit with one of the moves (a lean/dip - never sure exactly what constitutes lean/dip/drop/seducer - semantics) from Clifton last night but i remeberered it as 'if i put my hand upon her knee' - but somehow  :o from days of playing football in the evenings after school.

bring up a separate window if it won't play and you're interested- hope like most of the stuff i like, it ain't 'premium'

Bad news for you Dave - looks like 'Fire Brigade' is premium, it is no longer available.  >:(  I guess anything that is not premium must be bands that no-one wants to listen to anyway.

...no Youtube hasn't failed me  :smitten: - it just likes to play hard to get  :D

Bring up another window and eventually one will hear them and if one is really persistent - Roy and the boys will appear along with some 'Top of the Pops' gems of historical trivia.
