Salsa sabrosa
« on: May 26, 2009, 11:26 PM »
Salsa sabrosa--formerly @ Que Pasa & then Oceana, have now moved to The Ranch @ the bottom of Whiteladies road on Monday nights from 7--30 to 12/1am. Went on monday and had a brilliant night out--the place was heaving with really good dancers, and with 3 lessons and loads of freestyle all for £7, it's really good value too. Hadn't done any Salsa for 6 months so it was a bit of a baptism of fire for me--a very tricky Rueda routine in the int/adv class--which I think may've been filmed for their website. Definitely a class I'll go to again soon  O0                 Yes--just looked--and if anyone is interested in viewing the rueda class from last night go onto salsasabrosa.co.uk and follow the link to their you tube videos, and then click on Ian's rueda May 09--I'm the one trying to keep up!!

Just an update--the Ranch is still busy--I went with a friend last week--(I tend to alternate weeks with the Folk House)--had a really good night again--lots of good dances and forgot to mention that Becki--who also teaches Ceroc--teaches the beginners salsa class there now. Hoping to stay a bit later and buck up courage to dance with some of the more advanced dancers  the next time I go, as I will be on holiday and not have such an early start in the morning! :)
