Had a really good night at The Assembly Rooms, Melksham, on Friday night with Ginger Jive.
It was a long drive from Fishponds, Bristol and back again and despite a bit of a nap when I got home, after another hard week at the office I was still really tired. Again it was a bit of an effort to get ready and get going, but I was really glad I went. It was my first time there. The DJ was absolutely brilliant - another great selection of styles and tempos and to me every song he played was on the money, as they say. It was a bit of a quiet night there apparently but lucky for me there was more than enough lovely ladies
for me to dance with. I was the first on the dance floor, one of the last to leave and as per I hardly left the dance floor all night. As soon as I saw who the DJ was I knew we were in for a good night. It was the DJ from St Bonaventures (I'm sorry, I can't remember his name). Towads the end of the night they even laid on tea, coffee and cakes etc., which was a nice touch. A big thank you to the team, the excellent DJ and as always all those lovely ladies who danced with me again. I will definitely be going there again.
