Hi All

This came in from Fiona Delaney:

NCF are the UK's newest Cheerleading & dance organisation which offers training camps, courses, certification and competitions.

Unfortunately cheerleading does not have an official governing body, which can only be appointed by the sports council.  Therefore NCF hope to meet all the requirements of squads until the Sports council appoint a Governing Body.  NCF are hoping to be appointed in two years time.

We have a competition coming up quite close to you and its came to my attention that many do not realise that the special rates we offer at our competitions, where there is no entry fees, rather everyone requires a spectators ticket to compete in cheer and dance only.  For our next competition we even have early registration discounts which only run until the 31st of Aug.

Literally our competition is at Newport Leisure Centre from the 30th of Oct to the 1st of Nov.  If you register and pay your entry fees before the 31st of August you can enter cheer and dance for the cost of a spectator ticket of £10.  After that date it will cost you £15.

Our competitions are also split in a way that allowing you to attend only for the day if you are entering cheer and dance.  Our provisional running order is levels 1,2,3, on the Saturday and levels 3, 4 and 5 on the Sunday.  Speciality divisions for Saturdays competitors will run on the Friday evening and for Sundays competitors on the Sunday.  This keeps the comp to 1 day for most.  We will also host a tri bonded floor and a sprung floor depending on the requests from the squads.  It the majority request a sprung floor, we will have both and it will be your choice which floor you wish to compete on.

We have all the fun categories too, power toss, duo's, trios, partner stunts as well as a street dance category.

I hope you will give our competitions a try, they are seen as a political free competitions with an neutral international judging panel.

I also enclose a link of our new magazine, which has details of the competition on the back page.
