Kingswood LeRoc: Last dance before Christmas Review
« on: December 29, 2009, 03:28 PM »

It was a cold night to venture out on and the car park at Kingswood Community Centre was still like an ice rink, but was well worth it!

Steve and Cressida demostrated then taught a leroc routine with latin influence.  The Latin bit involved much more wiggling etc than usual in leroc, it looked good when Cressida and Steve were doing it, dunno about me though  :idiot2:

After the lesson there was lots of time for freestyle dancing and to munch at the nibbles.  Derek played a good selection of music, so all in all, a good dance party just before Christmas  :), but now we have to wait for what seems like ages for another dance  :'(

There isn't too long to wait - LeRoc UK's new year's eve dance...

John.
The Bristol LeRoc / modern jive dance classes are diverse and provide a blend of teaching styles and music styles that are complimentary. If you want to keep them... go to your classes and support them! Check out the free dance, music and theatre clipart images in the new Clipart Library

Can't go to that one as having party at home this year!   Dancing at home a strong possiblity, but the floor isn't up to much - carpet being covered with groundsheet to protect it from red wine, not the best dance surface, but neither is carpet!
