This looks good - what a shame it is clashing with a dance at Filton Folk Centre and a Portishead Dance.
Will be difficult choosing, though nearest to home will probably win!

No longer clashing with Filton as that has been cancelled, just Portishead now.

Hi
Here is some updated info about the charity event DANCE! RED FOR HEART at the Bath Pavilion, this Saturday ....the 6th  February with all proceeds to The British Heart Foundation.

As well as music from the 14 piece band BRING DOWN THE HOUSE we are delighted that our supporting DJ’s are Russell Payne from Red Hot Rhythm and Martyn Merrett.

The cabaret, celebrating that “dancing is good for the heart” will include an Argentine Tango performance from Tango de le Rosa, a group dance from Salsa Montuno, Street Dancers Anonymous and Dance Station will perform a sequence from “Five Guys named Moe”

Dress Code is RED FOR HEART and The Bath Hairdressing Company are sponsoring the Best Dressed Guy and Gal..........with a gift voucher worth £37.50 for the ladies and £30 for the guys.

Due to the weather ......the Red for Heart Punch will be served HOT!

Tickets are still available online (for door collection) at £10 (despite the date given on the website!) or £12 at the door

Children from Box Kids have been busy decorating over 300 hearts for the “Pick a Heart” tombola.............with some incredible prizes to win..........
Just some of the donors......
Bath Spa Hotel, Theatre Royal, The Silver Gift Company, The Real Italian Bar and Kitchen, Loch Fyne Seafood Restaurant, Shiney Company, Cath Kidson,  Aio Restaurant, Pili Beauty Salon, The Little Theatre, Broad Street Jazz, Figo Hair Studio, The Roman Baths, The Olive Tree, Lime Lounge Restaurant.........and also tickets for classes from Le Roc UK, Ceroc Live and Dance Envy

Heart Disease is the UK’s biggest killer........and February is National Heart Month........
So it would be good to see you on the dance floor..........and help raise funds for BHF’s vital work!

We’re all looking forward to a great night!

John.

Thank you John for your good wishes!

Everyone that I've spoken to is soooo looking forward to the dance....there is going to be a real "buzz" about the evening!

2011 is the British Heart Foundations 50th anniversary, and we will be raising money for the "Mending Broken Hearts" appeal............with a year to plan ahead, wouldn't it be good if ALL DANCERS could get together and celebrate that "dancing is good for the heart" next February during National Heart Month!

What do you think?!

Many thanks

Sarah

Well, the best way to do that is to pick your date and I'll try to stick it on the calendar for you.

The organisers usually try to avoid clashes, so next year's events would be arranged around the dance if at all possible.

Plus the longer the ad is around, the more people see it... :)
