Trinioty Le Roc Dance at the BAWA Fri January 14 2010
« on: January 16, 2010, 11:03 PM »
I really enjoyed the dance at the BAWA last night and I am pleased that at last another Christmas and New Year is out of the way and everything can get back to normal, including the dances.  O0 O0 O0 It was another brilliant night of what I call good "dancing" music, with a good variation of different styles and tempos, including a bit of rock n roll.  The only thing I wasn't so pleased about dancing to was an updated version of the Glen Miller classic  >:( :crazy2: :idiot2: :knuppel2:. As I always say it if it works, don't fix it, (which applies to a lot of remakes of films and songs, - can anyone name a remake of a film that was better than the original?). So, that is my request of music for the next Dance, can we please have the original and maybe a few more Glen Miller? Many thanks again to Dave and Katya and the team for a great night and of course as always all the lovely ladies who danced with me  :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:, including a few from Gloucester who said it was their first time at the BAWA! I am sure they will be back as they were very impressed with the venue and also the music.
