Tea dances - do you want more?
« on: January 26, 2010, 11:08 AM »
So I went to a tea dance with my kids the other day and had a surprisingly enjoyable and relaxed time.

I would be most happy if there were more such family events around that we could go to and include the children.

Would you like more such events in Bristol?

I would.

John.

I have to say, with young kids, the time of 3pm onwards was just great for me.  A chance to run around, have fun, burn off some steam before going home for tea...  (the kids liked it too!)

I've enjoyed the couple of Filton tea dances I've been to. I think it is a great way to spend a cold Sunday afternoon in the winter.  :) The cakes are very nice too!

However, I have lots of other things to do on summer weekends. Sadly not all fun, some are longstanding DIY jobs that can't be put off much longer.  :(

How far into the year do people think they are likely to go to Sunday afternoon dances?

Nick.
