Neo tango is the hot new craze. Picture Argentine Tango, modernised, danced to modern music. A seductive yet funky version of this wonderful dance brought to you by an award winning couple.
Darren and Julia both teach Neo Tango in the Latin bars around Northampton and North London. Neo Tango is a modern Argentine Tango, it has all the same flicks, kicks and gancho's. It is danced to modern music such as the Gotan project as opposed to the more traditional classical tango music. Thier dancing and teaching are second to none at this style of dance.
This workshop is aimed at improving skills you probably didn't even think you had with intricate footwork, frame, sharpness, new techniques in lead and follow, (flicks and kicks) it has it all and new moves to add to your list.
So the first half of the day Darren and Julie will go over Jive into Tango moves then on the second half they will start developing the lead into Neo Tango bridging the 2 together hopefully making it as smooth as possible for you to understand and go away and practice at your leisure
With a maximum of 30 people our workshops are very relaxed and friendly, and there's no need to bring a partner. We do our best to gender balance each workshop.
Cost per workshop is £25pp or book three for £60 - a massive saving of £15!
