Dancing in the Street (Broadmead Leroc Busk)
« on: February 28, 2010, 02:46 PM »
Yesterday we danced in the street in Broadmead between The Galleries and Marks & Spencers in order to promote modern jive to the people of Bristol and have fun at the same time.  The event was organised very well by Matt Evans from Leroc UK.

There were only a few of us to begin with, dancing in the rain at times, but by afternoon the sun came out, and more dancers arrived.  The 'dancefloor' got quite crowded and lots of passers by were stopping for a while to watch.  The whole event was great fun and will hopefully get more people interested in leroc (some passers by that I spoke to thought we were doing salsa!).

Thanks to Matt and crew for organising this - looking forward to the next one. :) :) :)
