Filton Dance this weekend
« on: March 04, 2010, 08:47 AM »
Just a quick reminder of our dance at Filton this weekend. Doors open at 8.00pm with dancing through to 11.45pm.

Hope to see lots of you there. Yours truly will be supplying the music, ably supported by Tim Coleman. Our aim is to keep you dancing all night with all your favourite tracks.

See you there.

Thanks for all the great comments about the music last night. I think we pretty much kept to our part of the bargain and the dance floor was full all night. See you next time.

Hi John,

An enjoyable evening indeed.

Plenty of music, plenty of time, and plenty of charming ladies to dance with (including some delightful outfits - Karen, Danni, Sally and Lesley were particularly well attired I though!).

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next dance, and also looking forward to the next Sunday Tea Dance on the 21st March at the same venue.

Thanks for a good evening.

John.

The Bristol LeRoc / modern jive dance classes are diverse and provide a blend of teaching styles and music styles that are complimentary. If you want to keep them... go to your classes and support them! Check out the free dance, music and theatre clipart images in the new Clipart Library

Yes, I had a good time and I thought the choice of music was brilliant which was a good combination of tempos and styles to suit all tastes and so I was able to keep dancing most of the night as usual. I didn't get a chance to dance with Mrs Eastman  :'( but I did have a few good dances with Mrs Gimber and Katya which I really enjoyed as usual :smitten: :smitten:. So, thanks always to John and the team and all the lovely ladies who danced with me.

Hi John,

Somone asked us what the last track of the night you played was?  We didn't know.  Could you enlighten us?

Thanks

Sarah

Indeed, I love this one. It's called "On Revival Day" and it's by LaVern Baker...
