Plan B: She Said
« on: May 02, 2010, 12:56 PM »
OK, there I was at some dance competition or other, and heard this fantastic tune.  It took me a while to track it down, but apparently it's called She Said, and is done by Plan B.

I can't say I've heard of them before, but I'll certainly be keeping an ear out for them in the future - this track is a mish mash of styles that just shouldn't work, but seem to be blended perfectly for a mad sound that just carries me away.

The track speed is nice, and varies a bit between sections of a song - something I usually don't like much, but in this case gives sooooo much scope for playing and interpretation during the dance that it's fantastic.

This is a rare gem, and hopefully becomes a song that lots of people play.

It's a floor filler -  so play it and fill the floor!

10/10

John.

P.S. The sample on the Amazon page doesn't do the song justice.  Only listening to it properly will do that!

The Bristol LeRoc / modern jive dance classes are diverse and provide a blend of teaching styles and music styles that are complimentary. If you want to keep them... go to your classes and support them! Check out the free dance, music and theatre clipart images in the new Clipart Library
