Ce Roc champs London

Just heard that Mark Winter and Fiona have made the finals of the Rockvets and the Advanced!  Final results in about 10 minutes - good luck guys!

Jenni Harrison and Matt made the semis of the Open - a really good result for their first time there together!

Haven't heard about anyone else yet - Graham W?  Mark and Lyndsey - anyone know?

Mark and Fiona came 3rd in the Rockvets and having made the final of the Advanced as well, that took some doing!  Well done you two!  :-*

Anyone know how the others did?

Martin and Sophie who won the South West and Wales Intermediate competition on Saturday night went on to make the Ceroc champs Intermediate final the following day. Fantastic effort from them.

Matt K and Jenni got to the Open Semi-Finals.
Sarah Price and Matt Evans got to the third round of the Open. I think they were also in CeRoc X but I forget where they got to- maybe third round.
Matt Evans and Mei-An Hoe got to the third round of CeRoc X.
Matt K and Sophie Ross-Smith (who, with Martin Bendle, won the SWaWC on Sat) got to the third round of CeRoc X too (I think- might have been the semi-final)
I think that everyone got through a fair few rounds of Lucky Dip, and I got through to the third round of Top Cats, which I really didn't expect!

It was a fantastic day, and a fantastic weekend what with the SWaWC the night before. I can't wait until after July when I qualify, so that I can start thinking about some more comps!

Quick correction to the above post from Matt E:

Matt Evans & I made it through a round of Open (not two) - but this is good  :) as we've only been dancing together for 3 weeks!

I didn't do Ceroc X, Matt Evans did it with Mei-An.

Further to questions above, Mark & Lyndsey didn't compete as Lyndsey was comparing for some of the day and they were both behind the scenes in prep for their comp in September.

Looking forward to seeing you compete at the future competitions!  Talking of which, who is competing at Blackpool?
