OK, sometimes people laugh at me when I go to a dance (no jokes please), because I always go over-prepared.

In this case (apart from shoes, dance trainers, towel, knee straps, paper, pens, spare music CDs in case of sound system failure, tomtom, tissues, mints, spare change, spare watch, phone, spare shirts, deodorant, comb, etc.) I also take a first aid kit and a sewing kit.

These last two items usually cause mirth when they are seen, BUT... are seen quite often because I often end up patching people up or sewing them up.  Ladies are especially guilty of this - always having to sew or safety-pin them back into their undies or dresses *.

So... would you say that I'm over-prepared for dances (once an organiser, always an organiser?), or are there odd things that you take to dances on the chance that you might just need them one day?

* Where necessary, other ladies are dispatched with the sewing kit to restore the distressed lady's modesty...

The Bristol LeRoc / modern jive dance classes are diverse and provide a blend of teaching styles and music styles that are complimentary. If you want to keep them... go to your classes and support them! Check out the free dance, music and theatre clipart images in the new Clipart Library

No - you aren't over prepared John - you solved my potentially embarassing zip problem the other week for which I was indeed very grateful  :smitten:

Body tape

Good grief, I didn't realise you were coming unstuck!

Have you tried superglue?

Or is the tape used to cover the mouths of overly chatty dance partners...?  :crazy2:

So, Pricey--why exactly are 3 mints an alternative to a fan ?? !!
