Battlestar La Attica 12/6/10

- actually it's very pleasant.

Made a second visit to C. last Sat and was pleased I had, though initially, on entering the venue I though, oh no (or silent words to that effect) – not many people; apparently there were a couple of side shows ‘appening. :D After a while though, more and more people seem to appear – was I having double vision, no they just seemed to materialise. Maybe that two quid, pre nine discount hadn’t been such an inducement for others of the dancing fraternity.

The music seemed a bit faster, more lively than the last time and I had some fun dances though I seemed to have my usual overheating problem – just seems to be my bonce : it must be trying to think of that ‘killer’ move to amuse my partner :o. Several of our finest lady dancers  present and with the odd flattering inquiry ‘would you like to try to dance?’  :idiot2: - I got to my feet. Definitely nice to be asked  O0 but sometimes I was trying to cool off.

One track I tried was the Tiny Dancers? – which turned out deceptively fast.

Proceeding to the now obligatory Bob’s (stand-in) bog survey – definitely in the upper echelons of  bogsville though I didn’t notice any bidets – could someone explain the manner of their usage? >:D

Don’t know when the next one is but I certainly like the place, its location, atmosphere and  lovely floor though there was space for a few more punters this time.  Probably skipping next weekend and doing Filton in fortnight though I hope to get some practice at Steve’s this Wed.

The Bristol LeRoc / modern jive dance classes are diverse and provide a blend of teaching styles and music styles that are complimentary. If you want to keep them... go to your classes and support them! Check out the free dance, music and theatre clipart images in the new Clipart Library
