Hello,
I'm raising awareness of a charity dance for Macmillan Cancer Care that we (Mendip Swing) are headlining on 25th September at Churchill School - details on the attached flyer. Please visit our website for more information about the band: www.mendipswing.org.uk

Our varied styles of music have proved particularly popular with LeRoc dancers at our gigs locally over the past couple of years and the varied set list for the 25 Sept event has been put together with dancing especially in mind... this really is an event not be missed!

Feel free to contact me if you require further information (or of course, tickets!) and please pass on the word to others who may be interested.

Many thanks,

Dave Gale

Hi All

Here's an update on this charity event:

Hello you LeRoc'ers!

Not sure whether any of you supported our charity event on 25 September following my invitation - but thanks to any who did, culminating in over £3,500 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.

In challenging circumstances we managed to capture a live recording of some of our Big Band numbers, excerpts from which which you can hear at:

http://www.mendipswing.org.uk/Gigs.html

We're currently planning our schedule for 2011 -  if you'd like us to be involved in one of your events next year, please contact me without obligation!

What a great score for charity there.  Credit where's it's due!

John.

The Bristol LeRoc / modern jive dance classes are diverse and provide a blend of teaching styles and music styles that are complimentary. If you want to keep them... go to your classes and support them! Check out the free dance, music and theatre clipart images in the new Clipart Library
