I came across this on a Tango blog and it prompted me to ask the question 'Terpsichoral Tangoaddict is reflecting on favourite things that leaders have said to her. Exhibit A. "When I leave here [El Beso] I might get run over by a bus. But at least we will have danced this beautiful Donato tanda with each other."'

I remember about 10 years ago I danced in a restaurant, and apart from a round of applause from the diners, the owner of the place asked when I had been on tv dancing!

I danced with one lady once - at the end of it I bowed to her (for she was a fine dancer), and the smile she gave me could have lit up the room.  Words were not needed.

I totally agree with that, in this case words are not needed.  Just that look in their eyes, the smiles and the laughter are more than enough for me - and of course the nicest thing a lady can say about the guy's dancing is for them to actually ask the guys for a dance.  :smitten: :smitten:  :smitten: I have never been known to refuse a lady a dance and as I have said before it is a pity that more ladies don't ask the guys to dance rather than just sit there or stand around and wait to be asked.
