Not a LeRoc event as such, but there's a fund raising evening for the Asian Tsunami Relief Fund on Saturday, 15th January at Backwell Football Club if anyone fancies coming along.
There's live music, disco, raffle and buffet-style food plus a limited space for dancing. Starts at 7.45 - Bar just to 11.00 I'm afraid. Free entry but donations to the relief fund requested on the night, and it's looks like we're getting some great raffle prices donated.
The band, disco and venue have all given their time for free, so it's a great opportunity to raise some money. Plus we have a matching scheme with a local employer which should double the amount we raise.
Backwell is on the A370 - the main road from Bristol to Weston-Super-Mare - about 7 miles out from Bristol city centre. Go through the main traffic lights in the centre of Backwell heading towards Weston and the entrance to the Football Club is a few hundred metres on the right. If you reach the New Inn, you've gone too far!
