Topic: New profile pictures (avatars) now available

Hi All,

I've been beavering away and have now created a shed-load of new avatar pictures (like my picture to the left of my posts).

They are split into two categories -

DANCE - loads of dance-related pictures for you to use, and
LEROC IN BRISTOL - just a bunch of miscellaneous people and images!

To use these pictures,

1. Click on the PROFILE button at the top of the screen.
2. Click on the FORUM PROFILE INFORMATION option on the left of the screen.
3. In the PERSONALIZED PICTURE section, click on either of the categories.
4. Move down the list, clicking each entry - the pictures will be shown for you to see what you're getting!
5. When you're happy, click on the CHANGE PROFILE button at the bottom of the screen to save your changes.

Then you can come back, and all your messages will have that picture next to them!

Hi Phil, Woman13, as shown on the left, is just one of a whole set of "neutral people" that I created for a counselling discussion forum.  I felt that some slightly more serious faces were required, as opposed the the scantily clad belly dancers etc. If you wish to supply a good picture to the set then email it over to me, or attach it to one of your posts, and I'll add it to the set so that it can be used. Alternatively, if you just want to upload a picture, then in your profile area you can upload your own avatar just by pointing to it on your local computer.  A copy of the picture is transferred up, which is then used as your avatar.  Please try to make it a sensible size - i.e. maximum 120 pixels wide.  If you're at all unsure about picture editing, then just send the picture over to me and I'll trim it and make it the smallest file size possible for use on the forum.  (Don't want too many big pictures or the forum will crawl to a halt and my bandwidth will go through the roof). Oh yes, if we are to have a "yeah that" icon then I think we need a Bristolian version.  Any takers...? Regards John.
