Very good night.  :) :)  Music certainly better than the usual.  (Lou, did you find out the name of that track we enjoyed?)

Interesting floor - slippy in some places; sticky in others.  But......

Unfortunatly it was a bit like bumper cars on there at times and did get a lil too busy. However i think that could easily be rectified with a better Table layout structure, there was no need for that many table and chairs as most people would be standing/dancing at most times.

This wasn't just down to the poor layout of tables (which could definitely be improved.  You need to be able to carry your drinks from one side of the room to the other without stepping onto the dancefloor), there was much poor floor etiquette on display.  :(  Couples just striding onto the floor, bumping into people to find a free space.  A word from the stage would help.

Plus some lousy bloke next to me during the class who just walked off back to the bar without a word  because he wasn't getting it, leaving his partner rather shocked and alone!  >:(

Problem was that, as always, with her passion and play on the floor, Brenda used me up and wore me out!  :o :o  At the end of the song all that was left was a tired old husk of a guy who had to go and grab a drink and recuperate!  ^-^

Next time?  ::)

Yes, Simon stood on some Guys foot and was glared at - we then realised that he wasn't dancing - he just took a short cut from one side to the other, via our dance space!  Also, when I was dancing with Andy (Mr Cool!  8)), we found people pouring from the bar and they surrounded us, again we where dancing!  Extraordinary behaviour.........

But I still enjoyed myself - thanks Guys!

Mr W and I really enjoyed our first visit to the Gloucester freestyle - though at one point we thought we'd have to settle for a bop to the car stereo with everyone else who got sucked into the "Gloucester Triangle"...

Agree with comments about dodgy layout, good music etc.

Thanks to all our willing victims and volunteers for making it a fun evening. Glad we were delayed getting away to Brighton. (The Findon tea dance on Sunday was completely different, but lovely - has a special charm).

Hiya All,

Agree with all of the above   :)

It was tricky to move around.  I didn't dance with everyone I hoped to this time around - oh well - always next time!   :)

Bottom Line though - its a good dance venue, with good music.  We'll definatley keep going back!   :)
