When you take dance lessons you learn steps and moves,  then one day you realise you can dance it is so different.

Nice atmosphere, nice music, nice floor, but the rest of the venue is VERY grotty!  That said, I'd go on Saturday if I was free.  ;)

Are we talking the dancehall, or Swindon in general?  >:D

Well the good news is they have gutted and re-done the ladies toilets. Although the main building is groty. to be fair the ballroom itself  is better than most  and as Simon says the floor, welcome and music are excellent,  with nothing much else on there should be a good crowd. so come on give it a go.

Well we had a great night at swindon I would say the best yet. Great music Richard was at his best playing a good range, there were lots of good dancers from many parts inc, Birmingham Banbury Glouster,
Oxford Reading and Bristol inc. John Baker Sheriff Corille.  8) 8) 8) 8)

Hey , where was the rest of Bristol on Saturday night?

Was a fantastic venue. When we were driving round to find the place, and walking up to the building i was thinking, 'this place is such a dive' , but it turned out that looks can be decieving. The dance hall was fabulous, nice and big, wich a super floor. There was a good range of music too.

Thanks to all the men for the dances, and putting up with my giggling fits.

Everyone was really friendly, which made us 'foreigners' feel welcome.

Would deff go to this venue again regardless of it being a bit of a trek.

yes, sounds like we both missed a top night!  :(  Had a good time at Newbury on Friday, but the big nostrils on my big nose were twitching to the unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke.  >:(
