Gloucester 28/12
« on: December 29, 2005, 07:44 AM »

Amazing - we trot up the Motorway to foreign climes and who do we meet?  About twelve others from Bristol!!  It was a really good party last night, lots of 'top' dancers and a great atmosphere.  Debbie had been up to the 'wee' hours preparing a buffet and it was much appreciated and all for £6.00!!!!

The venue was superb - the only down side was the floorcraft of some of the dancers - it seems to be a strange phenenomen to that area.  People just decide to walk straight into your space, even if they are not dancing!

Well worth adding the Gloucester Christmas party to your Christmas list for next year!

Yes, was very good event.  :) 8) This venue plays some of the most soulful music around, just my cup of tea.  8)  And then when they play the latin stuff, I can stand back and admire the latin dancers!  ^-^

p.s. I reckon I ate about 20 mini sausage rolls.  Anyone top that?  ::)
p.p.s. I drove Janice's Audi Quattro back to Bristol.  What a dream!  :P

I agree i thought it was a superb night and a realistic price,  good to see so many brisol dancers. There were so many excelent dancers from a wide area. The music mix  was also good.  Gloucester dances are becoming a favorite of mine. (pity they couldnt finish the class a little earlier though) thanks ladies for some wonderful dances.  8) 8) 8) 8)

When you take dance lessons you learn steps and moves,  then one day you realise you can dance it is so different.
