west coast music at jive freestyle nights
« on: February 05, 2006, 03:19 PM »
:) Is any of the music played at Bristol jive freestyle nights suitable for west coast swing dancing??? We dont have a lot to dance to in Exeter just a few of the slow jive tracks and by the time you have found someone who can west coast ,its too late as they have been nabbed by someone else for a jive   :'( Or does anyone know of elsewhere to go, to freestyle west coast   ???

At Jongleurs (Baldwin St, Bristol) there's live blues music every Tuesday evening (it's referred to elsewhere on this forum but I haven't been to it for ages).  Some of the music should be WC-able.  Otherwise, Jive+ are running a WCS workshop on Sat 1st April and then a WCS freestyle in the evening: www.jiveplus.com
